An unfamiliar name leads the way after two matches and that's AFC Bournemouth who maintained their 100% start to the new season with a single goal win over newly promoted Brentford at Dean Court. Thee omnly goal came in the 72nd minute when Stanislas bagged his first goal of the season to claim what proved to be the wnner. AFC Bournemouth 1st, Brentford 19th.

Also maintaining their 100% winning start is Millwall who bagged a 1-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage. Their win came courtesy of a Woolford strike in the 12th minute as the Cottagers struggle to come to terms with life in the second tier. Fulham 21st, Millwall 2nd.

One name you'd expect to be up there is Cardiff City who comfortably saw off Huddersfield Town at the Cardiff City Stadium. Whittingham gave the Bluebirds the lead in the 28th minute, with Jones doubling the advantage 7 minutes later. Wallace pulled one back for the Terriers in first half stoppage time. Any thoughts of a come back were snuffed out when Jones bagged his second for the home side in the 56th minute. Cardiff City 3rd, Huddersfield Town 24th.

Nottingham Forest lost their 100% start to the season by dropping points at The Reebok against Bolton Wanderers who bagged their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw. Mason gave the Trotters the lead in the 4th minute, with Assombalonga levelling in the 27th minute. Wheater restored the home sides advantage 2 minutes later. Matters were levelled 10 minutes before the break when Assombalonga levelled from the penalty spot. Bolton Wanderers 20th, Nottingham Forest 4th.

Blackburn Rovers piled more misery on to near neighbours Blackpool as Rovers walked off with a 2-1 win at Bloomfield Road. Gestede bagged a brace in the 26th and 47th minutes, with a solitary response from Cywka in the 53rd minute, but it wasn't enough to inspire the Tangerines to a leveller. Blackpool 23rd, Blackburn Rovers 5th.

Charlton Athletic recorded their first win of the season with a 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic at The Valley. Cousins gave the Addicks the lead in the 8th minute, only to see McManaman level in the 22nd minute. Moussa bagged a late 93rd minute winner for the home side. Charlton Athletic 6th, Wigan Athletic 18th.

Reading recorded a single goal win over Ipswich Town at the Madj Stad as Taylor bagged the only goal of the game in the 26th minute. Reading 7th, Ipswich Town 13th.

Norwich City recorded their first win of the season with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Watford at Carrow Road. Goals from Johnson (32nd min), Grabban (59th min) and Tettey (61st min) proved to be too much for 10-man Watford after they saw Ekstrand go for a straight red card in the 2nd minute. Norwich City 10th, Watford 12th.

Middlesbrough lost their 100% start to the season when they came unstuck against Leeds United at Elland Road. The only goal came in the 88th minute when Sharp bagged the winner. Leeds United 17th, Middlesbrough 11th.

Rotherham United recorded their first win of the season with a 1-0 win over fellow promoted side Wolves at their New York Stadium. Hall bagged the only goal of the game in the 76th minute. Rotherham United 14th, Wolves 15th.

Birmingham City recorded their first home win since October 1st last year when they recorded a single goal win over Brighton & Hove Albion at St Andrews. Thomas scored the winner in the 49th minute to secure a big win for the home side. Birmingham City 16th, Brighton & Hove Albion 22nd.

Derby County (8th) and Sheffield Wednesday (9th) could only muster a 0-0 at the iPro.
