Leicester City had to come from behind to claim the points at home against Blackpool, who took a surprise lead through Goodwillie in the 41st minute. The effort also constituted Blackpools' sole effort on target! The Foxes hit back after the break when goals from Mahrez (60th min), Morgan (82nd min) and Phillips (87th min) sealed victory to keep the home side on course for promotion, while Blackpool were kept in a relation dog-fight. Leicester City 1st, Blackpool 18th.

Play-off contenders Derby County (3rd) and Reading (7th) played out a 0-0 draw at the Madj Stad.

In a battle of the haves and hot nots, Queens Park Rangers came out on top against Yeovil Town at Loftus Road. Goals from Morrison (25th & 91st mins) and Zamora (70th min) returned the hoops back to winning ways, even if they are 10-points short of automatic promotion. Queens Park Rangers 4th, Yeovil Town 23rd.
