The Premiership charge of Leicester City was stunted slightly by Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park. Vardy put the Foxes in front in the 20th minute, only to see Kilgallon level 2 minutes before the break. Despite dropping points, City are still 5 clear at the top with a game in hand. Next weekends game at Turf Moor where the top 2 face each other will surely decide matters. Blackburn Rovers 10th, Leicester City 1st.

They might have been bouyed up after their midweek win, but Charlton Athletic were brought back down to each with a bump by Burnley at The Valley as goals from Barnes (38th min), Vokes (55th min pen) and Kightly (92nd min) proved to be too much for the Addicks. Charlton Athletic 21st, Burnley 2nd.

If Brighton & Hove Albion harbour play-off ambitions they need to be beating rivals, like Ipswich Town on their own patch it they are going to extend their season. Goals from Smith (60th min) and Murphy (80th min) made sure that the points were heading back to Suffolk. Brighton & Hove Albion 8th, Ipswich Town 9th.

It's looking grim for Barnsley at the foot of the table as they slipped to their 19th defeat of the season at home to AFC Bournemouth. Cook bagged the only goal for the Cherries in the 94th minute to send the visiting fans home in a joyful mood. Barnsley 24th, AFC Bournemouth 11th.

Yeovil Town will be kicking themselves as they let a 2-goal slip at Huish against Bolton Wanderers.
