Yeovil Town so very nealy caused a majot upset at the King Power Stadium against leaders Leicester City. Ralls had given the Glovers the lead mid way through the first hald only to see a valuable 3-points denied them when Wood levelled in the 92nd minute. Leicester City 1st, Yeovil Town 22nd.

Burnley managed to close the gap at the top to just 3-points with a 2-0 win over Doncaster Rovers at Turf Moor. Goals from Vokes (47th min pen) and Stanislas (75th min) sealed victory to set up an interesting weekend clash with leaders Leicester City. Burnley 2nd, Doncaster Rovers 20th.

Queens Park Rangers maintained their 10-point deficit to the leading two with a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic at Loftus Road. A solitary Benayoun goal in the 16th minute proved enough, even when the goal scorer was sent off in injury time at the end of the match. Queens Park Rangers 3rd, Wigan Athletic 5th.

Derby County saw their progress to towards the play-offs dented while Ipswich Town helped themselves to 3-points at Portman Road, despite falling behind in the first minute thanks to a Bamford strike. Williams levelled in the 68th minute leaving Berra to bag the winner in the 91st minute to lift the Tractor Boys to within 2-points of the top 6. Ipswich Town 8th, Derby County 4th.

If Reading harbour any hopes of making the play-offs then they need to be winning against the likes of Barnsley, especially when playing them at home! The Tykes got their memorable night off the mark when Dawson go them on their way in the 16h minute, but then saw Pograbnyak level from the penalty spot 4 minutes later. Noble-Lazarus and Jennings put the icing on the cake for the long suffering travelling supporters with two quick fire goals in the 53rd and 57th minutes to lift the Tykes off the foot of the table. Reading 6th, Barnsley 23rd.

Managerless Nottingham Forest continue to drift in the wong direction as Charlton Athletic grabbed a 1-0 win over their hosts at the City Ground. Cousins bagged the only goal of the game in the 81st minute. Nottingham Forest 7th, Charlton Athletic 21st.

Brighton & Hove Albion's hopes of making the play-offs were dented by Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsbough as Best left it late to bag the winner in the 91st minute for the Owls. Sheffield Wednesday 13th, Brighton & Hove Albion 9th.

AFC Bournemouth managed to bag their first ever win over Leeds United at Dean Court as the south coast side brushed their illustrious visitors aside with a comfortable 4-1 win. Kermorgant bagged a brace with goals in the 67th second and 51st minute, while Grabban bagged his brace in the 18th and 28th minutes. McCormack scored a well taken consolation in the 69th minute. AFC Bournemouth 10th, Leeds United 14th.

Watford and Blackburn Rovers shared 6-goals between then at Vicarage Road. Cassetti got the home side off the mark in the 4th minute. Rovers turned the game around when Dunn and Conway scored in the 27th and 64th minutes. A Deeney penalty in the 71st minute levelled matters with Battocchio scoring what seemed like an 88th minute winner for the home side. Gestede had the last laught with a 93rd minute strike. Watford 12th, Blackburn Rovers 11th.

Also sharing the points were Huddersfield Town and Middlesbrough at the John Smiths Stadium. Hammill got the Terriers off the mark in the 3rd minute, while Adomah levelled 7 minutes later. Wells restored the home sides advantage in the 34th minute only to see Adomah level for the second time in the 47th minute. Huddersfield Town 16th, Middlesbrough 15th.

Bolton Wanderers claimed local bragging rights over neighbours Blackpool at The Reebok as a Wheater goal proved enough for the points. Bolton Wanderers 17th, Blackpool 18th.

Finally at The Den Millwall slumped to the foot of the table with defeat at home to Birmingham City. Ibe gave City the lead in the 18th minute, with Morison levelling 12 minutes later. Shinnie and Zigic gave City a 2-goal cushion in the 35th and 52nd minutes. A Jackson penalty in the 88th minute wasn't enough to inspire his colleagues to salvage a point. Millwall 24th, Birmingham City 19th.
