Speaking after the match to BBC Local Radio, new Cheltenham Town boss, Mark Yates was quoted as saying: "I thought we were really good today, we were the better team. The players gave me everything even though we've known each other for a couple of days. The only one thing we didn't do was get the points. All I was concerned about was the performance, it gives me plenty of encouragement, it gives the fans plenty of encouragement because they saw today what they want to see. They saw energy, commitment, desire and above all, a bit of quality. I had to come in and put my own stamp on the team. I want them to go on and enjoy themselves, I want them to play the right way, I want them to win games and if they show me the work rate, the commitment that they did today, they won't have any problem with me".
