Cherries Almost Debt Free

Dean CourtAt the Fans Forum on Wednesday evening, Cherries Chairman stated that with recent player sales, and the compensation coming in following the departure of Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall, the Club is virtually debt free.

Mitchell was quoted as saying: "The HMRC payments are bang up to date and the rent arrears we’ve got now total just over £100,000. The funds we’ve got coming in from the sale of players and (compensation for) Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall outstrips the rent, so we are debt free. When I say we’re debt free, the directors are owed money but there are no pressing issues with that. We are prepared to leave in our money to build the club".
