Cherries Double Signing

First to sign was Southend United striker James Lawson, who signs for a month. Lawson has been very limited in his first team chances at Roots Hall this season. Speaking to their official web site, manager Steve Tilson is quoted as saying: "He's not getting any games here so it's better for him to go out and play and we'll monitor him".

Lawson (20 on Jan 21) has (so far) made just 7 appearances, with a further 19 from the bench, scoring twice in the process.

The second signing has been from near neighbours Portsmouth in the form of midfielder Marc Wilson (19 and 6ft2) who also signs for a month. Wilson is an U-21 Republic of Ireland international.

Both are eligible to play against Brentford on January 6th.
