Cherries In Administration

It is being widely reported that AFC Bournemouth are about to enter Administration, with a press conference being planned for Friday, 8th February.
It is believed that the former Leeds united Chairman Gerald Krasner, will be nominated as the adminsitrator. His firm, Leeds based Bartfields, helped save Leeds United from their plight, eventually selling the Elland Road outfit to Ken Bates.
The move will mean an automatic 10-point deduction, leaving the Cherries some 11 points adrift of safety, needing some 32 additional points from the remaining 16 games to have a chance of achieving League One survival.
