Cherries Sign Defender

With the departure of Shaun Cooper after 6 minutes on Tuesday night against Rotherham United, the football club have moved quickly to sign a defender as cover for the next month.

As a result, the Club have signed Aaron Brown from Reading on a month's loan.

The 6ft4 (!) defender will be no stranger to Dean Court, having featured in the giant killing act inflicted on the Cherries by Tamworth in this seasons FA Cup.

Sean is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Reading were keen to get him out on loan earlier in the season to give him some experience and at the time we were interested, but were not able to take the offer up. With the injuries we have and players who are not match fit being asked to play, hopefully Aaron can come in and do very well for us. We will need to integrate him into the team quickly with only two training sessions before Saturday's game, but we've done that plenty of times before".

He's expected to be in the squad for the key relegation 6-pointer against Blackpool this coming Saturday.
