Having seen Rhoys Wiggins depart for south east London, AFC Bournemouth have signed Scott Malone from Wolverhampton Wanderers through until January 7th 2012.

The 20-year old has had loan spells with Burton Albion and Southend United previously.

The Wolves youngster is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying on the move: "For me, coming on loan, I need to be one of the best two or three players every game, which is what I am aiming to do. Hopefully, we can be in and around the play-offs come Christmas, then hopefully I can extend my deal and push on later in the season. I need to push on now. I’m 20 and am not 17, 18 or 19 any more. I need to start producing the sort of football I can produce. I played for England at under-19 level so if I don’t play very well, I am harsh on myself. But if I want to play in the Premier League with Wolves, then I need to maintain those high standards. I played around 20 games in League One when I was younger so I know the pace of it now. Hopefully, I can be one of the best players in the league and have all the other teams talking about me".
