Having pulled the plug on the previous shirt sponsorship deal when the Cherries went in to Administration back in 2008, Focal Point Fires are to be the Clubs next shirt sponsor for next season.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Cherries Chairman Eddie Mitchell is quoted as saying: "We think it is a great deal and shows the solidarity we are creating. We are bringing back on board people who are devoted to the club. It is an honour to be associated with these people because they are believing in what we are doing".

On the deal, Ivor Mitchell, owner of Focal Point, is quoted as saying: "We at Focal Point are excited about being back on the front of AFC Bournemouth’s shirts from next season. Eddie, Jason and the team have achieved so much over the past two seasons and we are thrilled to be part of the future of AFC Bournemouth. We look forward to working with the team, management and supporters in what we believe will be a very successful future for the club".

On the announcement Eddie Howe was quoted as saying: "This is a great deal all round. We all know how important shirt sponsorship is and we are delighted that it is with a local company who are also great supporters of the club. With the coverage we get and our supporters wearing the shirt with pride, it will also be great exposure for Focal Point Fires".
