The Cherries have announced that they have added three more players to their ranks for the new season back in League One.

The players coming to Dean Court are Stephen Purches, who returns from Leyton Orient; Harry Arter, who signs from Woking; and Mitchell Nelson, who signs from Tooting & Mitcham.

On signing a 2-year contract Stephen Purches is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I love Bournemouth as a club and as a place and had seven great years here. Looking back, leaving was probably the right decision for both me and the club. I had three good years at Orient and also captained the team. It was a good experience and I learned a lot about myself and about football in general. It was a worthwhile exercise and there are lots of things I can take into my second spell here. Things work out for a reason. People who say you should never go back are probably the ones who have done so and not fared very well. I am returning to a totally different club and it doesn’t feel like I am going back. It feels like I am going forward. As soon as I was given the opportunity to sign here, I didn’t want to know about anything else. I want to be part of a club that wants to achieve something and Bournemouth are certainly heading in the right direction".
