Chesterfield Reaction

Bournemouth manager, Sean O'Driscoll had nothing but praise for the players as they were held by Chesterfield at Dean Court - the first side this season to stop us from scoring at home this season!!

Sean is quoted as saying that: "Chesterfield came here for a point and they got it. But I thought we were excellent apart from not getting the goal. Our passing was superb, and in the end you have to admit that you are not going to score all the time".

For Chesterfield, their manager, Roy McFarland priased rooky keeper Andy Richmond for his performance following an injury during the pre match warm up to their normal keeper, Karl Muggleton, "Richmond came in for and did well for us, but in truth he did not have much to do. This was only his third game in as many years but he is only 21 amd the things he had to do, he dealt with competently".
