AFC Bournemouth have signed Dennis Rofe as new first team coach. The experienced former coach of South Coast Club brings 25 years worth of coaching experience to Dean Court. Groves is quoted on the capture as saying on the Clubs Official Web Site: "He brings a world of experience, not just in football but in life, and I think that's crucial when you're making important decisions. Dennis will help us with that and the day to day running of the football club. He's enthusiastic, his manner is fantastic and I could go on about his qualities".

Also joining the backroom team is Dan Hodges, who joins as Head of Sports Science. On this appointment, Groves is quoted as saying: "Dan will be responsible for the players' fitness throughout the season, and their wellbeing when it comes to strength and conditioning. He will make sure the players are in good shape going into the season and help them cope with the workload that's coming up. It's a big responsibility for Dan but I'm sure he's more than capable of doing that. He's worked with some good people at a top club, and he's aware of what's required".

The latest appointment made by the Club is Chris Hargreaves, who joins as the coach for the Development Squad who had 21-year playing career at the likes of Hereford United, Plymouth Argyle, Northampton Town, Torquay United at Oxford United. On his appointment, Hargreaves is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "At so many Premier League clubs, younger players are frozen out and don’t get anywhere near it, but I think there is a chance here. With the way Paul, Shaun (Brooks) and their team are going about their business, it means they have got even more of a chance because of the level of professionalism. So, I would say to them: ‘make the most of it’".
