Cooper - Nervous!

Last updated : 21 August 2009 By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator
He might be out until about Christmas following hip surgery, but Shaun Cooper speaks about how he feels about the winning start to the season. He's quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I want the lads to win because when I do come back to try to get in the team I want us to be in a good position. I'm happy for the lads because they all deserve to win, but it's frustrating because you want to be out there playing and to be a part of it. But I'm really pleased for the lads and everybody. I'm just doing a few leg-strengthening exercises because I still can't jog for another five weeks, then from there I've just got to see how it goes. It's frustrating but I'm just looking forward to getting back and trying to fight for a place because competition is always good. If we can have the season that I think we're capable of doing, and keep everyone fit, it's going to be a good year for us".
