Disappointingly, Shaun Cooper's return to first team action has had to be put back as he's not been able to get out and train as he'd like to due to the icy conditions.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Cooper is quoted as saying: "I’ve been working with Steve but the frozen pitches have made things difficult and having to stay in the gym has been frustrating. I’ve been doing a lot of straight-line running and quick feet work indoors but can’t do any direction-changing or fitness running outside due to the weather. I was hoping to start training soon but we’ve lost at least three weeks. The injections put me back a while and now the weather has put me even further behind. I managed to get outside with the lads at Littledown and joined in the warm-up and did a few passing drills. I need to step things up and start sprinting over longer distances now".
