In the 27th minute against Cheltenham Town on Saturday, Jack Cork was forced to leave the pitch, to be replaced by Stephen Purches, with an injury that is going to keep him out for weeks as opposed to days.

He has returned to Stamford Bridge for an MRI scan to assess the damage.

Kevin Bond was quoted on BBC Radio Solent as saying: "He's done a hamstring, he did it earlier on in the week and he was hoping to get through it but obviously felt it early on. It will be some time before he is fit and we will miss him because he does well for us".
