Long serving Crewe boss, Dario O'Gradi, was quoted after the match as saying: "We had more chances than Bournemouth, but I'm not sure if we had good enough players to take the chances. I don't think we were necessarily unlucky - but the one guy who's been taking those chances wasn't playing. We didn't threaten the goal enough, and then Rodney Jack missed a chance when I thought he might score".
