Cummings Appeal Turned Down

Last updated : 08 October 2003 By Andy Burton
Following the alledged stamping during the Colchester United game on September 27th, by Warren Cummings on Karl Duguid, the Club appealed to the FAs Video Evidence panel to have the red card reduced.

Unfortunately the FA panel upheld the sending off which means that Cummings will now miss the matches against Notts County, Yeovil and Brighton.

What is disappointing about the dismissal is that if the stamping was that bad, how come Duiguid was able to continue and score against us??

Seems like the FA on disciplinary matters know sweet FA!!
