Cummings Is Back

The Exiles Club President is on the comeback trail, having featured in the pre-season win over Hamworthy.

After the match, he was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "There are always going to be people who think you will never be the same player again after suffering a long-term injury "I've already had people say it to me but I don't believe in that. I think it's a mental thing more than anything. I'm sure after three or four games there will be people saying it again if I haven't played to the standard that I was before. If they want to judge me after three or four games then fine but I would rather they judged me in four months' time. I'll be surprised if I'm not back to where I was then and I'm confident I'll be a better player. I was improving as a player at the time I got my injury and think I can keep improving now".
