Cummings Out For Start Of New Season

The Bournemouth Evening Echo has reported that Warren Cummings, who suffered a double broken leg in the game against Swindon Town, has had to undergo further surgery to aid the healing process. This means that a plate has been inserted to the damaged area, and has set him back by a couple of months.

Understandably upset by the news, Cummings is quoted as saying: "But although it is a massive blow, I'm still confident I will be back stronger than ever. Plenty of players have had serious injuries and made full recoveries and I'm determined to get back to how I was. I'm trying to stay positive and think myself lucky that I am 100 per cent sure I will be back playing now".

Fingers crossed for a return in October.
