Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Jeff Mostyn is quoted as saying: "With the exception of Josh Gowling, we have now successfully negotiated with all of our out-of-contract players. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players for the commitment they have shown the club by remaining loyal despite the current position we find ourselves in. Both Kevin (Bond, manager) and I have done everything in our power to retain the players that finished the season in magnificent style. This we believe will give us the best possible chance of making progress in League Two".
