Darlington Reaction - Cherries I

Having effectively set Brett Pitman up for his second goal against Darlington, but winning the penalty, Anton Robinson is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I've always had that sort of unsung hero role and as long as my team-mates appreciate it, the manager appreciates it and the fans appreciate it, that's all I really care about. There's no point in not playing to your strengths and I'm going to keep doing it to stay in the team".

On the penalty, Robinson is quoted as saying: "The ball slowed down, so I chopped in to get on my right foot and he slid and took it with his hand. It was a clear penalty. I didn't know whether to carry on or wait for the penalty, but I'm glad he gave it. We came here to get the three points and take them back to Bournemouth. It wasn't a pretty game. We played well in spells, but again we got the three points without, for me, playing our best. That's the sign of a strong team and a successful team".
