Deadline Day Signings

With the fans shouting for a striker and Sean talking about the need for a defender, the Club signs players to cover both positions.

The first to put pen to paper was Scott McDonald. He is the Australian U20 skipper, who had his contract terminated, by mutual consent, by Southampton. McDonald netted twice for the reserves as they drew 3-3 with Leyton Orient. Scott is described as stocky, powerful, and quick.

Scott has so far made 2 substitute appearances for Southampton, and during a loan period with Huddersfield, he has made 7 starting appearances plus 6 as a sub, scoring one goal in the process.
The second deadline day signing is Philip Gulliver, a 20-year old defender from Middlesbrough, has arrived on loan for the rest of the current season. Philip has yet to make his first appearance in the Premiership, and is spending a three period on loan this season, having already played for Blackpool (2 app + 1 sub) and Carlisle United (1 app), which should make it interesting for the final match of the season!!
