Doncaster Rovers Reaction

Speaking after the match, manager Sean O'Driscoll was delighted with the last minute victory over Doncaster Rovers, being quoted on BBC Radio Solent after the match as saying: "We kept plugging away, and I put a couple of subs on in the hope we might get a goal, so I'm delighted. Their goal was from probably the one weak challenge we made in the whole of the first half, and we got punished. But we've shown a lot of spirit - we kept knocking at the door, and I think the win was well-deserved in the end. The North Stand were fantastic, and having the new end makes a difference too. The supporters have been really good in that they've understood the problems we've had, yet we've still tried to play attractive football, and I think they've appreciated that".

For Doncaster Rovers, their manager Dave Penny was disappointed to see 3-points slip from their grasp. He was quoted on BBCi as saying: "We got off to a great start, got the goal and for the first 20 minutes I thought we were excellent. But after that, we stopped doing what we were doing, to be honest. We were chasing the ball for a long time, but when we got it we just kept giving it back to them, and it was just slack defending at the end. We'd even stuck another defender on to give us five at the back and stop it happening again, but it happened again. Bournemouth are a good footballing side, but to concede twice from two balls into the box like that is disappointing".
