Donny Reaction

Speaking to BBC Radio Solent, here is what Sean O'Driscoll has to say about the game: "We got the elusive penalty that we've been waiting for for some time. No controversy either, it was a definite handball. I don't think anyone has got any complaints about that one. Why his hand was up there I don't know. For 27 or 28 minutes we totally dominated the game, we were in charge and they changed their system to match us up. That gave us one or two problems. We started the second half really well but they got a goal up and I was disappointed with our reaction. I just felt we were going through the motions. We made three changes just to liven it up and once we got back into the game and started to pass the ball we were a threat again. I thought that we wouldn't maybe get the elusive goal but we managed to in the end so I'm pleased to come away from here with a point and disappointed really that we didn't get all three. We were only one-nil down and we've been there with Cheltenham. You can throw caution to the wind and teams back off. And if you can move the ball quick you've got half a chance. We moved the ball, got our free kick, put it in the danger zone and managed to get a penalty, which ended up with James Hayter scoring. You live a bit dangerously because they put fresh legs up front, they were pretty quick. But once we got control of the game again, it was just like the first 27 minutes. I was just disappointed that we went a goal down then really lose all belief".

For Doncaster Rovers, their manager, soeaking BBCi conceeded that: "Steve Roberts said he was pushed, but he still shouldn't have had his hand up there. It was handball and it looked a penalty from where I was. But we're not conceding from open play. We've now conceded three goals in our last two home games from our own doing and you can't legislate for that. It feels like a defeat - we need to be more professional late on in games".
