Eddie Back!

The ever popular Eddie Howe returned to action for the reserves against Plymouth Argyle at Dean Court on Tuesday evening after 3 months out following a knee operation.

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Eddie is quoted as saying: "I was pleased with the run-out and delighted to get some time on the pitch under my belt. You can train for as long as you want but there is no substitute for games and that's what I need at the moment. I'm delighted to be back. I'll carry on training for a week or so and see how things go. I've just got to play it by ear and see how the knee reacts to the game. My main focus was on getting through the game. Hopefully I will train on Thursday, build on this game and then kick on from there".
