After a day of rumour and speculation as to the future of Eddie Howe, news has emerged that Eddie Mitchell has called an emergency meeting between himself, Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall at Dean court.

Then at 11am, the management duo are due to announce to their squad news of their decision to the players as to whether they are to staying, or off to one of Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic or Burnley.

Cherries Chairman, Eddie Mitchell was quoted after yesterdays meetings at Dean Court as saying: "We can’t do any more than we have. It’s Eddie’s decision and we would wish him well, whatever he decided to do. We had a chat and it is a very tough decision for him to make. It’s Eddie’s life, not ours, but we want to keep him and everybody in the town wants to keep him. He has to make his own decisions. I think Eddie knows the importance of making a decision as soon as possible, but he wants to make the right decision. He is very deep and intelligent and he needs to think about it and he’ll let us know when he is ready. I want him to stay as long as possible and that’s my hope".
