As a result of a toe injury sustained at Barnsley on Saturday, Eddie Howe has been ruled out of action for up to 3 weeks, even though a scan did not reveal any fracture.

But as this means that Sean O'Driscoll would be without Karl Broadhurst and Neil Young, both through hernia, Stephen Purches and now Eddie Howe, the lack of defensive cover is there to see.

As a result, Playershare has chipped in to help fund a months loan of 19-year old Matthew Mills from Southampton.
