The deal is for an initial months loan, with the possibility of that being extended until the end of the season for the 6ft4 keeper.

I spoke to the people at Grays and they were desperate to have him back. But Spurs wanted him to go to a league club and Harry Redknapp and Kevin Bond have both been very supportive".
As for Shwan Jalal, Eddie is quoted as saying: "Jal needs pushing and needs competition. I rate him as a goalkeeper but don't think he's been pushed this season".
