Eddie To Return Home?

In an unexpected twist before the start of the new season, the Bournemouth Daily Echo is reporting that Eddie Howe is to return to Dean Court for a months loan in time for the new season. It is also reckoned that he will start at Hull City on Saturday.

Eddie moved from Bournemouth in March 2002 for £400k to near neighbours Portsmouth before suffering a terrible injury at the start of his Portsmouth career. He made 216 appearances in a Bournemouth before his 'defection', scoring 13 goals. While at Fratton Park, he has made just 2 appearances before the injury. At the end of last season he went out on loan to Swindon Town.

Eddie underlined his return to fitness by playing against Aldershot in a 0-0 pre-season match over the weekend.
