Existing Squad Given A Chance

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Quinn is quoted as saying: "I've had loads of agents ringing me about trialists. I don't want any sort of trialists at the minute. I know Shaun (Newton) is in but it was a pre-arranged thing before I got here. I want to make sure I assess the squad. One thing if I get new faces in it will demoralise some of players that are here. I'll give everyone the best possible chance to show me what they've got over the next four or five weeks and we'll take it from there".

Quinn went on to add: "I want us to be the best team in this league without the ball and I just thought we afforded Notts County a bit too much space around the middle of the park. It was a big playing surface but the fitness levels required these days mean we've got to be better than we showed on Saturday. But the lads have bought into it and we're going to do a bit of work this week. We've got to get the balance between rest and recovery and the fitness side".
