Experience Counts

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Darren Anderton is quoted as saying: "All the boys are good and do everything right, and they're all respectful. Hopefully I can help them in any way I can. It's a shame Youngy and Russ have moved on but that happens in football and I wish them all the best. God knows how long I've been playing now and I'd like to think my experience will help in many ways".

Of the up and coming youngsters, Anderton goes on to say: "Marvin did really well and was a bit of a surprise to the fans because he came out of non-league. Joe came in and scored a vital goal for us (at Swansea) and it's a really big season for him in terms of trying to break through".

And of himself: "I feel good in myself and it's a challenge. It's a league I haven't played in but I don't know how much different it will be - we'll just have to wait and see".
