Having secured the ever popular Eddie Howe last month, AFC Bournemouth have now secured the services of John Spicer in a permanent move from Highbury to Dean Court.

The deal, secured on Friday (17th December), means that Spicer moves to Bournemouth in a deal worth £10,000, and will see him remain at Dean Court for at least 18 months.

The transfer was made possible through funds from Playershare.

Speaking on the Clubs Official Web Site, manager Sean O'Driscoll is quoted as saying: "John is the sort of player you travel up and down the motorway looking for and fits in perfectly with the way we try and play the game .... we are very happy he has agreed to come and join us and we are again indebted to Playershare for helping make the deal possible".

Nick Douch, or Playershare is quoted as saying: "John is obviously an outstanding talent and we are happy to help Sean to get his signature".
