Following his return after approximately a month out though injury, Steve Cook, was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I was buzzing to get back. I was out for about a month but it felt like a lot longer and I missed a lot of games. It was hard just sat there watching, even though the lads did really well over Christmas. Maybe it (the injury) was a blessing in disguise. I was feeling tired mentally and physically so, in the long run, that month out could benefit me but it was so frustrating at the time. Fortunately, we still picked up some very good results but having come through 90 minutes now, I hope to give the gaffer a bit of headache ahead this weekend".
