FA Cup Reaction - Rovers

Tranmere Rovers manager, Les Parry, was quoted after the match as saying: "I thought we did tremendously well to get back into the game from 3-0 down, and so to lose after doing that is obviously disappointing. There was not much we could have done the way Bournemouth started. They scored goals that on any other day would probably not fly in. They were outstanding strikes. We were punch-drunk after that but we showed good character to get back into the game but then we got hit by two killer blows which finished us off. We didn’t get a chance to practice with the new ball and it moves around a lot, it is very light. Joe (Collister) had a go with one in the warm-up and it was a shock to see how much it moved. But we didn’t lose because of the ball we lost to a very good side who played some great football".
