If we are successful in the replay, it would mean that this would be the first time Bournemouth play Crewe for 6 years, the last time being in 1996/97 when Crewe did the double over the Cherries 0-1 at Dean Court and 0-2 at Gresty Road.
This fixture will also be remembered for the match back in 1995 when Crewe visited and thumped us 0-4 when a certain Mr B Knight sent off too many players to mention, which virtually handed Crewe the points on a plate. Lets hope he's not due down for this one!!
