Feeney Deal Off?

For much of this week there has been speculation that Warren Feeney is about to depart Edgeley Park for pastures new - Doncaster Rovers being the favourites, who were prepared to break their own transfer record by slapping in a bid of £150,000!!

If the deal were to go through, AFC Bournemouth would be entitled to 20% of any cash Stockport County receive, which would equate to just over £20,000.

Peter Phillips is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "So if he goes for £150,000, which has been mentioned, we would get a nice little windfall of around £20,000, which is obviously great for us".
