Feeney To Be Eased Back Gently

With Liam Feeney picking up a hamstring injury, which forced him to sit out the game against Shrewsbury Town at the weekend, Eddie Howe has said that he's not going to rush back the winger, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "You’ve got to be careful with any hamstring injury. He needs to be fully fit before he returns and has a 50-50 chance of being back for Morecambe. He hasn’t trained so far this week and is going to have to if he is going to be available. His game is all about pace and the ability to run at people. If he’s feeling his hamstring or has any doubts mentally about it, he’s not going to be able to play. I wouldn’t want to risk him and potentially cause him any further damage. With this type of injury, it is always difficult to say when they are 100 per cent right. As a player, you think you are fully fit and then tweak it again. I just want to make sure we are ultra careful with Liam".
