First Team Beaten By Swindon Town Reserves

With a depleted squad, due to injuries, here is what Sean O'Driscoll had to say (on the Clubs Official Web Site) about fielding a first eleven against Swindon Town: "We've only trained with six to eight professionals in preparation for the last couple of games (because of injuries). We've had no real 11 verus 11 training - this game gave us the opportunity to try one or two things. It was either use the reserve game, or arrange a behind-closed-doors friendly on the Wednesday".

The same sentiments are echoed by assistant boss, Richard O'Kelly who is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying "We're really not worried about the result - not in the slightest - we got a lot of good things out of the game".

As it was Dani Redrigues scored Bournemouth's only goal, with Rory Fallon and Steve Robinson neeting for Swindon Town.
