First Team Honoured

In receiving the award from the League Managers Association, Karl is quoted as saying in the Bournemouth Evening Echo that: "I was very proud to have been asked to captain the side. It was a special night that will be talked about for years to come and it will live with me forever. Everyone played out of their skin and I was so proud of the effort the lads put in. We showed great character and always thought we could nick a goal".
