Even though it is well known that Jimmy Quinn is looking to strengthen his striking options, speculation that Steve Fletcher could be about to make a return have been laughed off by Crawley Town boss Steve Evans. He is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "As for Steve Fletcher re-joining Bournemouth on loan then it really is nonsense. Mind you, the transfer window opens shortly so I suppose silly season has arrived".
