Fletcher Deal Good For AFCB

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo Peter Phillips makes some salient points about the Carl Fletcher move to the East End of London.

As the Echo seem to be threatening legal action against another unofficial Bournemouth related we site, the main points of the article are highlighted below and a link provided to the main story.

Phillips points out that:
Carl Fletcher has bee outstanding in the last couple of seasons.

At the end of this season Carl was out of contract and could have left without AFCB receiving anything.

Many clubs were interested in his signature.

Initial bid was for around £100k.

Sean will receive funds to strengthen the squad via Player Share.

The Club was not forced to sell Carl to improve cash flow.

Regardless of the reasons behind the sale, the departure of one of the most influential players AFC Bournemouth has seen for many years will be felt for along time to come. Carl will be a hard act to follow.
