Franchise Reaction

Sean O'Driscoll remained upbeat, but realistic after the third straight home defeat against Franchise FC, he is quoted on BBCi as saying: "It was difficult for us as we had people coming back from injury, and two loan boys in - but I couldn't fault their effort and commitment. We dominated the second half but we just couldn't get the ball over the line, and got done by a sucker-punch".

For the Frachisee's, their keeper (who saved two penalties over the Easter weekend) was also quoted on BBCi as saying: "Fortunately, I've guessed the right way both times, and we've taken four points from six which is fantastic .... the lads have responded to what the gaffer's wanted, which is important, and the spirit's been fantastic .... people say there's more pressure when you're at the top or bottom, but I don't agree with that - you know what you're capable of, so the only pressure comes from within. Our home record speaks for itself - we haven't lost at home yet since I've been here, touch wood, and we've started to pick up points away - and if you want to stay in this league, that's vital".
