Franchise Reaction - Cherries

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Jimmy Quinn is jokingly quoted as saying: "He's getting on for 55 and he's still playing two games a week. You can see he's played at a far higher level. He was tremendous, but everybody was. I thought everyone played their part. The three at the back looked solid and we've got a decent keeper. Whichever way you look at it, it's a fantastic result and it gives us confidence going into a six-pointer on Saturday at home. There's only the first division clubs in the competition and we've beaten one of the best teams in that league. That will give our lads great confidence and we'll have to see what we get in the next round. It would be nice to get a home draw. We played tremendously well against Bristol Rovers in the last round and now we've beaten another team a division higher. That all bodes well for the team".
