Scottish Under-21 winger, Ryan Fraser has put pen to paper,m agreeing a 3-year extension to his current deal, even though he's currently on a season long loan at Ipswich Town.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Eddie Howe is quoted as saying: "I am really pleased. When we signed Ryan as a youngster, it was a huge move for him and a brave one for somebody of that age to take the step from Scotland to Bournemouth when you consider the size of the club that Aberdeen is. But I think he is benefiting from that brave decision now. He was unfortunate not to play more for us last season and we felt with the step up in division, it would be better if we couldn’t guarantee him football to get him games. To take his career to the next level, I think that is what he needs. He has made an incredibly good start at Ipswich and no one is more pleased about that than me and I am delighted to reward him with a new contract and that he sees his future with us".

Fraser scored on his Ipswich Town league debut.
