With the Cherries in need of additional striking options, Chairman Eddie Mitchell is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying that funds are available: "We never closed that option and never wanted to. We have got the budget to get a loan player in until the end of the season – no problem. It is finding the right person, but that is not easy. We have got to find that bit extra and if that means getting in a loan player, then so be it".
