Further Points Deduction?

As if the future of the Club isn't bad enough already, in administration, 10 points deducted and staring at League Two for the 2008/09 season, the Club could be facing a further deduction of points unless the current situation isn't resolved.

Unless all footballing related debts are cleared, reported to be about £150,000, and the creditors satisfied with any deal they are offered, then the Football League could take further action and impose a further deduction of points.

A further deduction this season would mean instant relegation, but relegation PLUS a points deduction at the start of next season, would see the Cherries with a foot in the Conference before the season even starts.

Administrator, Krasner, is quoted as saying: "The scenario is that if we do a successful administration, coupled with a successful CVA, it will be limited to 10 points this season. It could be worse than 10 points and I'm here to make sure it's only 10 points".
