Gillingham Reaction - Gills

Gills boss, Mark Stimson, was quoted on their official web site as saying: "There was little in the game so I'm naturally disappointed. I thought we did well in the first-half. We started brightly and were in control but sadly we didn't test the goalkeeper enough. We huffed and puffed in the second-half but we needed to produce more".

On whether one goal bound effort crossed the line or not, Stimson went on to say: "It was difficult to see from my angle. Most of our boys thought it was in but the linesman was in a good position so you have to take his word on it. I took Dicko off in the second-half because he was struggling. He sustained a knock to the top of his foot and you could sense that it was hurting him every time he picked up the ball. Brighton will be the final game of this current loan spell for him so we will see if he is fit enough to play on Friday. I must say that did well when he came on. He offered us more of an aerial threat and was a real presence".
