Gills Reaction

Bournemouth boss Sean O'Driscoll was disappointed with the defeat against Gillingham, being quoted after the match as saying: "We're a passing side and if your passing isn't good enough, it's always going to be a struggle. In the second half, we threw caution to the wind, which you can't do in this league - you can for the last 10 minutes, but not for a whole half. We expected a hard, tough game and we got one, but I was disappointed with the way we played. We reacted poorly".

The Gills boss, Neale Cooper was up beat following the win: "It was a fantastic overall performance. They are a good side and have good movement - we knew they would be a good attacking and passing team. Some of the football to create our chances was excellent. It gives us a massive boost for the week ahead. The midfield looked tight. Their tempo at closing them down and the back four squeezing up the play was excellent".
